Unable to Browse

I have a NT 4.0 server that I recently moved out of a domain and put into a workgroup. Since I have done that I have not been able to browse the server through my network places. The problem I am having is that the server I use to do my backups is a Win 2000 server running Backup Exec ver 9. When I go to remote selections and browse the workgroup I do not see the NT 4.0 server and I am not able to setup backup jobs for it. The NT 4.0 server does have a active registration in WINS, and I am able to ping it by hostname or IP address. Does anyone know what may cause me to not be able to browse to the server?
