Unable to Change Computer Name Joined to a Domain

Hey Guys,

I’m trying to rename my local computer that is joined to a 2003 R2 domain. I get the following error

“Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.”

or i get this error

“The following error occurred attempting to change the computer name to “OFFICE-IT”: (the domain “SERVER” was joined under the old computer name “TEMPLE-IT”)

I tried logging on locally and
not to the domain and I still get the same error.
