Unable to install wmp 9 or 10

I am unable to install or reinstall wmp9 or 10.Iam currently trying to use wmp9 and all I get is audio and nothing else.No player or anything.I am unable to install wmp10.I have tried re installing but this does not help.Could some one please help.I am semi pc litterate so could you please keep solutions as simple as possible.Thankyou.
