Unable to join domain

We have a new windows 2003 server as a web server. we want to make it to join our domain as a station pc. When i follow the normal procedure as following,

1.right click my computer, select the properties

2.Select computer name, click change

The change computer name dialog appear, but both the Domain or Workgroup is dim. So that i can’t change it.
