Unable to see Entire Directory in WinXP

I’m in the process of upgrading workstations on a network running Win2k Advanced Server. I have no issues logging on to the domain and using network places for file shares. My problem is when I go to set up a share on the local workstation or try to add users to remote desktop I can’t see any users other than on the local machine.
