unblocking ports

hello, will someone help me unblock ports on windows xp , i can get to the part where u can add new ports under windows firewall.. but im lost from ther i got all my port numbers, but im lost.. do i add all the numbers together, under the name field do i type vpn_ubp or all together, or do i add each port seperatly, if sumone could babystep me thru it id app it ty
