Uninstalling Internet Explorer on Win98

Does anyone have a foolproof way to remove IE from Win98 (SE)? I need to uninstall it and reinstall it, as I know that there were problems during the upgrade from W98 to W98 SE on this particular pc. Simply reinstalling W98 SE doesn’t upgrade thefiles or the registry settings that are corrupted. This is exactly the same as the issue the Justice Dept. did when they proved that MS was lying when they indicated you could not remove IE from the OS.
