Unix Print issue

I had a SAP Unix box configured in my environment. This SAP unix box is connected to multiple W2K pront servers in multiple location. The SAP Unix box also running Unix print spooler with print queue configured to send print job to multiple W2K print servers. My question is: Can the entire unix print spooler hung when one of the W2K print server in a single is down? Does Unix print spooler have the multitreading capability to ensure other print queue is running when one of the print server is down?
