Unix,Samba and Win2000

If somebody is bogging down the network in your company and all you have is an IP address of the Box …how do you find the HOST Name? assuming WINS is not being used…Unix (Samba Network with windows 2000 machines)is there any commad lines? nslookup doesnt work.
