Having trouble finding an answer to this one, hoping for some help please.
I am using Message Journaling on our exchange server and have the message journaling inbox set up on my outlook 2003 profile to administrate. The Journalled emails are moved daily from the inbox to a pst folder for archiving. These emails are moved as unread, My problem is this, Even though after moving the emails the message journaling inbox is empty the unread email counter is still showing several thousand emails. It never zero’s but will change depending on the number of emails moved. The mailbox also shows its over 1gb in system manager. One point to note is that any messaages marked high priority or private are not journaled. I am looking for a way to reset the counter once the mailbox is empty.
