Unuseable data field

We have a client server Database at work. This was functioning normally untill a few days ago it started playing up in one of the machine. For a particular user when he tries to open up a form it shows all the fields with the date data type as “name?”. Can you tell me how to solve it.

For a start I checked out his date settings in the Regional Settings of the Computer – no problems there.
