update for 3com 920c ethernet port driver for dell optiplex110

i updated from dial up to braodband , thats when the problem arose. my pc failed to connect via the ethernet port and the sever said ive to update the same which i cannot find.
soemtimes the port cionnects but there is no activity and “repair” also fails to connect
pls help..
