Updated Processor from 1.9G to 2.4G

Why is it that I now cannot see any Processor in Hardware>Device Manager? Also when I right click on my computer I can see the old and new Processor even though I have a single processor system. Also when I go to system information I can see a processor that is only 1.89G and not the 2.4G that I recently put in it.

So how do I know that my system is now running at its full partential? Is there a tweak that I must apply to it?

I am running on Windows XP Pro, P4, 512Meg Ram
