Upgrade Lotus 6.5 to Lotus 8

At my IT Centre we have a few batch of 20 users for whom we are not the IT Admin but they reside in our domain so we have right to install and manage them. They run Lotus 6.5 after connecting to VPN, Now we are been told to upgrade their lotus to Lotus 8. I have Lotus 8 with me and we cant run Lotus Smart Upgrade, is there any way i can upgrade them from the client machine without anything being pushed from the Domino Servers.
