Upgrade WinME to Win2k pro

Does anyone know of any issues upgrading from Windows Me to Windows 2K professional. I have a client that got a laptop with Win Me preinstalled and then found out he needs to connect to an app that only supports Win98 and Win 2K.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
