Upgrading netware 4.10 to netware 4.11

URGENT

Dear Sir,

Can we upgrade novell netware 4.10 to novell netware 4.11. It is a total new OS installation or just adding patches to installed 4.10 server. Do we need licence for upgradation or it is free patches for 4.10 licence users. I ned to implement this to activate 1 gbps NIC on novell 4.10 server.
