UPS, Emerson PL600

Hi, I have an Emerson PL600. Their website has no manuals available. A few questions if anyone can help.

what batteries does it use, or just the voltage

There is a front switch with two positions, 1 and 1 in a circle, what do they do?

There is a back switch with 1 and 2, what does it do

what is the normal operatin position for these switches?
