usb detect external hard disk but in my computer menu didnt appear

i have a problem.
after my home power source cut off with my external hdd still in usb port, the usb storage detecting my hard disk but the hard disk didnt appear on the my computer menu plz!!!!! help me.
i’m new in this computer hardware.
