usb port

I have a dell demension 3100 and it only has usb ports for all inputs. no os2 for keyboard and mouse. when starting i get a keyboard error press F1 or F2 but because of the unservisable USB port it does not reconize my keyboard.

Is there any way to input the F1 code?
