My problem that I have is that my USB ports (front and back) are not working correctly. I took a flight home with my Dell Dimension e520 in the cargo hold, I understood it was a bad idea but I had not choice at the time.
After the flight I set up my computer as I always do in my living room, started it up and got to my desktop to find my mouse and keyboard not responding, but instead getting the 2 download USB device messages that I cannot navitgate through due to mouse and keyboard not working.
I tried different mouses but nothing worked. I went through multiple BOIS checks and everything was enabled correctly.
I was wondering if someone knew somekind of fix that wouldn’t cost money, my friend said that I need a new motherboard and another said that a reformat may help.
I’m reformatting 2 days from now and was hoping there is another answer for this problem?
