User can’t connect to network shares through applications

Hi Everyone,

I have a user that cannot connect to network shares through applications. She can open Explorer and connect to the share, so it’s not a connectivity issue. However, if she tries to access a share through the Open dialog in a program like Photoshop or InDesign, the program crashes. The window goes all white and will stay that way for ages. You cannot end the program through task manager. The only way to get out of it is to reboot the computer. This also happens with programs that access a database which is on a server. Any ideas? She is using Windows XP SP3.
