User drive mapping changes from root of

by steve robinson . Updated 23 years, 10 months ago

I have a computer with Windows 2000 Professional connected to a Novell 5 network. When I logon to Win2k as the Administrator, the Restoring Network Connections dialog box appears requesting my user password. After logon, the drive mapping is to theroot of the Netware volumes: “Vol1 on ‘Servername’ (F:).” When I logon using my user name and the same password used above, the drive mapping changes to a folder on the volume instead of the root: “username on ‘Servername\Vol1’ (F:).” I am not an expert, but I have been through the registry and there are no Persistant Connections that I can find nor any logon scripts.
