User login, authentication and session management

Hello,

I am a beginner and trying to develop a web application using Perl and MySql. I am trying to develop the application such that the user is allowed to view the web pages only after a successful login. I also found that this can be implemented using the Session module of Perl however, I am unable to implement it properly.

I request the professional members of TechRepublic to help me in this regard.
