User Profiles

I work for a school and we have many students who login on many different computers. Their personal files are profiled to store on a folder located at the server but their logging in on the local computer is resulting in a huge amount of profiles being created locally on all the computers in the high school. Is there a way to login and not be leaving behind a profile on each local computer?
