Using Winsock in Visual Basic for Telnet

by cratem . Updated 24 years, 1 month ago

I am a Visual Basic programmer. I want to write an application that uses Winsocks as a client to connect to a Telnet server. There are several third party ActiveX to do this. I have issues with all of them as they include code to protect the licencing. This is an issue as many of my customers are having security monitoring on the network and false alarms are triggered. I need details on how to create my own ActiveX to do a telent using Winsocks and Visual Basic.
