Verifying DMI Pool Data

System starts up goes through the bios, displays PCI device listing, hangs after the following message: Verifying DMI Pool Data…..update sucess

At this point the system hangs. I have disconnected all devices at various times and the bios recognizes when the boot drive is not available. (during post) It never gets anywhere after the verifying message. I realize this is a hardware error. Where do i go from here. Any suggestions.
