Verizon aircard and wireless home network

I have been trying to set up a wireless network using a Dlink DI-524 router and my vza access pci card, the router is designed to use a cable or dsl modem for the wan connection. Is it possible to use one laptop to get the wan connection to the router through the ethernet port out to the router and share the connection?
