verizon dsl wi fi suffering from dialup

My neighbor has verizon DSL and for some unknown reason they will not sell to me, claiming I am too far away.

I live about 100 yards away through some pretty dense woods.

Can I physically wi fi that signal over here; and what would be best method and equipment?

Can my other neighbor do the same?

Is this a problem with verizon?
