Viao laptops randomly go back a page in Explorer

I don’t believe this is a virus, but I’ve identified 3 Sony viao laptops that for some reason has IE/Explorer go back a page at random times.

So you can be on a web site, then without touching anything, it will go back a page without notice. This is very annoying when writing emails, for example.

Sony denies this problem exists, but I’ve talked to one other Vaio user that reports the same problem.

Anyone familiar with this, and is there a solution or next step?

I had it happen to me using Explorer, too, so I am now wondering if it is hardware-related.
