Viewing/Downloading from TechRepublic

Hi there. I don’t know if anyone has experienced this maybe I’m the only one, but when I go to check my email and click on a link to go to TechRepublic. It brings me to the view/download this file screen. When I try to download the file a window pops up but never displays anything. Then after a minute or so another pop-up appears saying IE needs to close. Any ideas.
