Viewing of share folder permission

Hi,

Is there any software tool which can allow the users to check the user permissions of their share folders? Currently each department has their own shared folders on the network and only people which has the permission can view the folders. The individual departments need to ensure their own shared folders has the correct users permissions (user names shown, instead of user groups if possible).
