Virtual Servers

I’ve been looking at DR and am now considering hiring in some virtual servers (AKA Cloud Servers – traditional VM’s) via web hosts to act as backups for the traditional on site servers here in the office.

Has anybody had any experience with these type of off site server offerings or can offer any insight on how reliable they are?
