My user requested me to install for him the vendor software driver but Trojan horse.dropper.agent.mpw was found in the CD! Thus, i refused to proceed and insisted my user to ask for another clean software for installation.
Then, vendor replied in email with his instruction that i must temporary disabled the antivirus and claimed that trend and norton do allowed his other customers to install. He said AVG was too sensitive towards that kind of virus!!! Moreover he has no other solution for this issue according to his principle…
Again i rejected the installation but user informed me that this vendor is the only supplier for our company equipment – microscope.
I would like to hear from you…what should i do now? Proceed as instructed? Continue to reject it?
