I want to know how to detect possible virus piggybacking on normal windows processes. I want to make a standard list of windows processes for each version of windows, and then the applications for a particular pc. I suspect that various pc configurations are also going to yield non-common processes in windows, but I don’t know for certain.
What I ultimately want to know is how to MANUALLY recognize and explore (without virus software) the windows processes of a given pc and determine from that process list (if possible) any virus or hidden security/tracking software piggybacking on the normal Windows processes.
Any ideas on this?
All help on this will be appreciated.
Thank you, in advance, for your time.
Sincerely,
Darin
