When a WinNT4.0 machine starts up the McAfee NetShield Task Manager fails to start. Error messages are received.
The Event Viewer shows error 1008. Supposedly the latest SP should correct this problem. I have installed SP6a, Uninstalled and reinstalled Virus Software to no avail. The program will launch on startup for 3 or 4 weeks after reinstall, then begins to give the same error messages.
