Viviscan Compact II — need install help

I purchased a Viviscan for $10 because there was no install software available. I found some help on-line and attempted to install but it didn’t work. Any thoughts on where I could find out how to install the scanner? I’m giving this a high pointvalue as I want to be able to scan my new grandson’s pictures!! Thanks.
