VM Ware will not reinstall Windows 2008 enterprise core

I had Windows Server 2008 with 1 server running and I was putting Server 2 on when the machine stoped working,I went to the start button and shut down the machine,when I re started it would not reboot.I reinstalled and the disk took me through the process and let me sign in and change the password and then the blue screen of death,I have done this many time,with the same results,any help,mike.
