VMWare Windows 2003 64bit security

I have installed Windows Server 2003 Standard x64bit edition with service pack 2.

And i have installed VMWare on top of it and created virtual machine which is Windows 2000pro. My problem was like …i try ping this windows 2000pro virtual machine i didn’t get a reply from the virtual machine. I have enabled the ICMP setting and that still didn’t solve the problem.

I believe this could be the Windows 2003 x64bit security issue. Anyone out there with advice for this issue.
