VPN and Virus Scanning

I have 2 questions regarding VPN:

1. Is there a way to achieve centralized Virus Scanning that incorporates the VPN remote user?

2. In a Tech Republic article it was stated:
“Via the logon script, we detect if clients have our antivirus installed; if they don’t, a complete version of the software is pushed out to them. If they elect not to install the software, their remote network session is
terminated.”

Does anyone know where such a script might be obtained that can be modified for our own purposes?
