VPN Between Watchguard Core X1000 and NetGear ProSafe VPN Firewall

Is there an simple way to get a Watchguard Firebox Core X1000 to establish a VPN connection between itself and a Netgear ProSafe Firewall device? I have an aging Watchguard SOHO device at a remote location that is failing. Watchguard no longer markets the SOHO. The replacement device is too expensive. This division is scheduled to move to my central location soon. My consultant and I had the idea of setting up a VPN on the cheap until they all move from this location.

Has anyone ever done this – successfully? Can it be done? I thought I’d ask here before I use up a precious Watchguard incident.
