VPN but no mapping

Hello,

I have established a vpn connection between my home computer (XP pro) and my office server (W2003) I try to make some mappings but this is not possible. Also i get a strange ip adress when i connect to the vpn server starting with 169, while i have a dhcp range starting with 192.

What can there be wrong?
