VPN to Novell Server

Scenario:
SonicWALL internet appliance
Novell Server with TCP/IP, latest version
Windows 2000 Professional pc or Windows 98 PC

Once the VPN is setup on the remote PC (W2k or W98), I can ping to the corporate network beyond the SonicWALL to computers that are inside the corporate network but not the Novell Server. The ping returns a “request timed out.” Where should I start looking in order to solve this problem?
