VSS CheckOutDIalog, Advanced Panel, can’

all the files that come out of SourceSafe have DOS end-of-line characters,
which transfer across to Solaris. I thought that these only caused problems
with shell scripts and have been manually running them through ‘dos2unix’ to
strip them out, but this morning when testing I found that they also cause a
problem in some of our SQL scripts.

The SourceSafe help says that the Check Out dialog has an Advanced panel in
which you can specify the end-of-line marker than you want, but on my Check
Out dialog this option doesn’t exist in the Advance panel – any suggestions?

Can anyone suggest a way around this problem please?
