vwics problem lineprotocol up and down

Hi all,

i just installed two vwic E1 cards on each of my cisco 2811. however i get a line protocol on and off problem.

this happens twice every minute on both sides of the E1 connections..

i thought it was a clocking thing.. made one serial interface to use internal clock..the other to use line.. same problem..

tried a loop of each of the routers and i was getting the same thing..

is there a trick to get these twins talking to each other over E1?

some one advised me that it might be an IOS problem…
