“vxd” files

Good day to you all,

A friend of mine is trying to troubleshoot his computer. After the “Windows 98” screen appears, it says that the system cannot find these files: vnetsup.vxd, vredir.vxd, and dfs.vxd, and it wants him try to reinstall them.

I’m guessing it’s got something to do with the NIC, but I may be wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
