W2K server won’ show users in TRUST

I have a W2K server that I want to be TRUSTED by another W2K server. I have set up the TRUSTING and TRUSTED entry on each server correctly. When I go to the NT 4 server to update SHARES to allow access by the TRUSTED W2K server, I select the W2K domain which is available on the drop down list. Then I get an error that INFORMATION cannot be displayed because the server is NOT OPERATIONAL. But, the server is operational and up! What am I doing wrong?
