W2K Shutdown/Restart Problem

Something has happened to cause my W2K Server to not restart, but instead, shutdown. This happens even though I have requested the system to restart. It goes through the shutdown sequence and prompts me with the screen that it is safe to turn off the power. It used to work right, but not anymore and I can’t find the reason. Help!
