W2k3 SP2 reboots when a remote connection logs off

Hey guys

Having an issue with a windows server 2003 build.

It’s been stable and working fine for the past year. However since last week, everytime a user logs off their terminal session, the server immediately restarts (just as if somebody pressed the reboot button on the tower – no windows shutdown dialog).

To my knowledge, no new programs have been installed other than the normal windows updates since this issue started.

There is a user logged in to the local console at all times as well and there is no specific event in the event log other than event id 6008 after the fact and there is no time for a memory dump since it is an instataneous shutdown.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
