Water Seep’s into a P’C’S,Laser Printers

There has been water seepage into my pc and laser color printer, i have been able to get the equipment to work after through cleaning and drying. I want to know what are the chances of the Equipments failing due to water seepage in near furture, say6 months down the line. Is there any technical data sheet available for these kinds of failures or is it just pure luck, as to how much time it would take to fail or it wont fail at all.
