Hi guys, so yeah, a folder of mine (containing many sub-folders) is corrupted and inaccessible to one of my computers, on the other computer, I can access it but only like 5% of my stuff is visible. To my knowledge, I did not hit the drive or unplug it while it was transferring, but you never know. At any rate, I want my files back. Is there any way I can access them?
I already ran dskchk but when I clicked “show details”, there was nothing in the event log, save for some generic information.
The message from dskchk said:
“Repair this drive
Wi9ndows has found errors on this drive that need to be repaired. Close this dialog box, and then repair the drive.
Show details.”
I am afraid, however, that repairing the drive will simply erase my data.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
